You know how Dr. Bruce Banner turns into The Hulk when he gets angry? And how The Hulk's massive green body is like twice the size of Dr. Banner? Isn't that a violation of the first law of thermodynamics?

If Dr. Banner's density is much greater than that of The Hulk's it's possible - he could also have a high internal temperature or potential energy as Dr. Banner, which through Nuclear reactions could convert to mass as the hulk, or finally Dr. Banner may absorb matter and energy as he transforms from the surrounding environment.

But that's just my guess.
